Monica Harrigill
Monica, a Mississippi native, is a graduate of Millsaps College with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a certificate from Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program (2017). She began her career in 1988 working in her family’s restaurant business and quickly advanced to multi-unit, multi-concept leadership, ultimately overseeing up to 70 locations and 1,600 employees as Executive Vice President of Jackies International, Inc. and Certified Hospitality Corp, Inc. for more than 20 years. Monica co-founded The Sunray Companies in 1996 and joined its leadership team full-time in 2016, focusing on strategic planning.
She was named one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Businesswomen (2003) and Top 40 Under 40 (2004) by the Mississippi Business Journal, completed Emory University’s IAHI/IHG Leadership Institute in 2007, and actively supports the Mississippi community, including serving as a Millsaps College Trustee for 20 years.
