Sucharita Basu
Sucharita is a legal practitioner with over 20 years of experience and the founder of AQUILAW. Earlier, she was Associate Partner at Khaitan & Co., Kolkata. Her practice areas include Corporate law (including foreign exchange laws), Capital Markets, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Policy, Banking, and Trust laws, advising Indian and multinational clients. She is Chairman of the CII West Bengal State Council and represents the CII Eastern Region Council. Sucharita is also Guest Faculty at Netaji Subash Administrative Training Institute. She serves as Independent Director at Himadri Credit & Finance Limited and Tarsons Products Private Limited, and was recently empanelled as Senior Counsel by the Government of West Bengal in the Supreme Court of India.
